Shongololo Language School is an online English language school offering tuition to Slovak speakers, delivered by qualified South African teachers. Our services are provided via our website at www.shongolololanguageschool.com.

2. Eligibility

Our services are available to individuals aged 16 and over. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian before booking a lesson or purchasing a package. By using our website or booking a service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Services Offered

We offer the following English language services:

  • Conversation Practice

  • Exam Preparation

  • Business English

  • English Editing & Proofreading

All lessons are delivered online. Lesson content, structure, and scheduling are subject to teacher availability and may be adjusted to suit the individual student's needs and level.

4. Booking & Payment

  • All lessons and packages must be booked and paid for in advance through our website booking system.

  • Prices are displayed in Euros (€) and are correct at the time of booking.

  • We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect bookings already confirmed and paid.

  • Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider. We do not store your payment details.

  • Your booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received.

5. Rescheduling & Cancellations

Please refer to our Refund Policy at www.shongolololanguageschool.com for full details on cancellations, rescheduling, and our no-refund policy. Key points:

  • No refunds are issued for cancelled lessons, but lessons may be rescheduled with advance notice.

  • Same-day cancellations and no-shows are forfeited.

  • Packages are non-refundable and valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

  • If we cancel a lesson, you will be offered a free rescheduled session.

6. Student Responsibilities

As a student, you agree to:

  • Attend lessons at the agreed time and be prepared with a stable internet connection and working audio/video.

  • Treat teachers with respect at all times. Abusive, offensive, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of the lesson with no refund.

  • Not record, reproduce, or distribute any lesson content without our prior written consent.

  • Provide accurate personal information when booking.

7. Our Responsibilities

We will:

  • Make every reasonable effort to deliver lessons as booked.

  • Provide qualified, professional teachers.

  • Notify you as soon as possible in the event of a cancellation or change on our side.

  • Respond to enquiries within a reasonable timeframe.

We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, exam results, or language proficiency improvements, as progress depends on individual effort and engagement.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, lesson materials, and branding — is the property of Shongololo Language School and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without our express written permission.

Lesson materials shared with students are for personal learning use only and may not be shared, sold, or republished.

9. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems.

  • Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content.
