Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Shongololo Language School. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds and rescheduling are handled for all lessons and packages purchased through our website. By booking a lesson or purchasing a package, you agree to this policy.

1. Our Approach

Because our lessons are scheduled, personalised, and time-limited sessions with qualified teachers, we operate a no-refund policy. However, we are committed to being fair and flexible — all unused lessons can be rescheduled subject to the conditions below.

2. Single Lesson Cancellations (by the Student)

If you need to cancel or are unable to attend a booked lesson:

  • No refund will be issued for cancelled lessons.

  • You may reschedule your lesson at no extra charge, provided you notify us in advance.

  • Rescheduling requests must be made before the lesson start time. Same-day cancellations or no-shows are forfeited and cannot be rescheduled.

  • Each lesson may be rescheduled a maximum of once. Repeated cancellations of the same slot may result in the lesson being forfeited.

3. Lesson Packages & Bundles

For students who purchase multi-lesson packages:

  • Packages are non-refundable once purchased.

  • Unused lessons within a package may be rescheduled at any time, subject to teacher availability.

  • Packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Any unused lessons after this period will expire without refund or extension, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Packages are non-transferable and may only be used by the purchasing student.

4. Cancellations by Shongololo Language School

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule a lesson due to teacher unavailability, technical issues, or other circumstances:

  • You will be offered a free rescheduled lesson at a mutually convenient time.

  • We will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to find an alternative slot.

  • If a suitable rescheduled time cannot be agreed upon within 30 days, a full refund for that lesson will be issued as an exception.

5. How to Request a Reschedule

To reschedule a lesson, please contact us via the contact form on our website as soon as possible:

We will confirm your rescheduled lesson by email or through the Wix booking system.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that unexpected situations arise. In cases of serious illness, bereavement, or other significant unforeseen events, please contact us directly and we will consider requests on a case-by-case basis. We cannot guarantee exceptions but will always try to be reasonable.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Bookings made before a policy change will be honoured under the terms in place at the time of booking.
